BCP was the first privately-owned company in New Zealand to introduce the revolutionary laser screed technology, setting new benchmarks for precision and efficiency in concrete levelling. In 2002, the company expanded its expertise by acquiring Southern Pumps Canterbury, adding advanced concrete pumping services to its portfolio. This strategic move allowed BCP to deliver seamless, end-to-end concrete solutions under one roof.

BCP’s success is powered by a team of over 100 skilled professionals, with more than half having been part of the company for over a decade - a testament to the company’s strong culture and credibility. This is followed up by a strong support crew in the office supporting the crew out in the field through three highly skilled Quantity Surveyors and a HS team that is supported by admins.

We were proud to approach Kilmarnock, a non-profit organisation who provide training & support for kiwis with disabilities, to assist us in finding a new member to join the BCP team.

That is where we met Andy, a passionate and hard-working individual who is now a vital part of the BCP family. We're so fortunate to have Andy with us, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Commitment to excellence

To honour our commitment we continuously work on training, management and reporting systems to exceed industry standards. BCP works with training providers to support and develop people who wish to pursue a career in the construction industry. BCP connects with BCITO to train apprentices and supervisors and provides work placements for students studying construction at Ara Institute of Canterbury. Our employees also undertake other specialist training including, driver licencing endorsements, site safety, and professional development.
